Two Hindutva members assaulted a Muslim youth on Sunday, 13, November, in Karnataka. 

According to police, Harish and Goutham attacked Zaheer, over a skirmish between them.

In another incident, a Muslim youth Rizwan was stabbed on his hand by an unidentified person in front of a general hospital. 

The local police have registered a case and the investigation is on.

Unprovoked attacks on Muslims by Hindu mobs have become routine in India, but they seem to evoke little condemnation from the government.

In March, a 14-year-old Muslim boy who had entered a Hindu temple to drink water was violently assaulted

In June, a vendor was beaten up in Delhi for trying to sell fruit in a Hindu locality

In recent years, anti-Muslim sentiment has spiked. Although these sentiments manifest themselves in many ways, attacks on mosques directly take aim at religious freedom.
