Moradabad police have arrested 26 Muslims for offering salah in a house without prior permission from local authorities.

Offering salah in a house is not allowed in Modi’s New India. To pray in a home, Muslims need permission, approval from the Hindutva government.

Pictures of group of Muslims offering salah inside the house had gone viral on social media, following which, a Hindutva Groups staged a protest and demanded police action.

Superintendent of Police, Moradabad, Sandeep Kumar Meena, said, “People assembled at the house of two local villagers in Dulhepur village without any notice and offered prayers. They had been cautioned in the past not to indulge in such a practice at home, following objections from neighbors belonging to another community.”

He said, “A criminal complaint has been registered under IPC 505-2 (statement conducing to public mischief in an assembly engaged in the performance of religious worship) against 16 identified and 10 unidentified Muslims on the complaint of local Chandra Pal Singh. We are looking for those involved in the case.”

Moradabad is a city, corporation of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where the anti-Muslim militant monk Yogi Adityanath is the chief minister.

This hate mongering monk is the second in command of Hindutva groups after Narendra Modi. His anti-Muslim policies inspiring state governments like Karnataka, Assam etc.,

After 2019 election victory Yogi Adityanath tweeted: "Met the architect of New India Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji in Delhi today.”
