ZIONISM AND HINDUTVA: COMMUNAL COUSINS TOGETHER AGAINST ISLAM

Special episode on the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinians.

Hindutva and Zionism. They are similar in that they both embrace ethnonationalism, the concept grown based on their own religion, which is against Islam.

There are similarities between the two that go deeper than rhetoric., a common ideology is, that both are not compatible with Islam because it exists outside the Islamic world and Islam has no interest to coerce India into its fold.

In recent years, Israel and India have forged a highly visible strategic alliance, fueled by the political ambitions of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recently re-elected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The core objective of this new alliance is that Islamophobia and both Zionism and Hindutva promote colonialism and expansionist ideas. Both are ethnic ideologies that emphasize race, territory, and nationalism. Both claims to be ancient civilizations essential to establishing and strengthening their claim to cultural superiority, and both harbor hatred of Muslims. Both Zionism and Hindutva inspired by the European fascist movements which greatly influenced the (pre-state) Zionist militias and the RSS.

Under Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India become very close to a Hindutva state. This encouraged people in the diaspora to openly express Hindu nationalist or Hindu supremacist ideas. It was always underground, but [Indians] in the Hindu diaspora [now] feel emboldened – and not just in the U.K.

These relationships are the implementation of Brand Israel, the apartheid state's overarching strategy to justify occupation, apartheid and settler colonialism against the Palestinian people through "growing partnerships" and Modi recruits the Hindi film industry to cover up Israeli crimes.

The weapons that Israel is 'field testing' on Palestinians are being deployed in Kashmir today.

Modi wanted to portray himself as a strongman linking India to a strong and influential country that had "disciplined Muslims" and was able to defend itself. Modi was elected on the mandate of Hindu nationalism, and his strong image of Israel matched his message.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Netanyahu took the opportunity to strengthen ties with a country that has gone from democracy to authoritarianism and is challenging the very existence of Islam and Muslims. Especially a country that has been Israel's biggest critic and supporter of Palestine.

Zionist and Hindutva leaders both tend to code switch when explaining their goals to different audiences: to international audiences, they speak of terrorism, self-defense, and peace; domestically, meanwhile, they talk about expanding borders, while allowing their surrogates to spout hate speech about Palestinians or Indian Muslims or Kashmiris.

Zionist and Hindutva leaders tend to switch codes when explaining their goals to different audiences. To international audiences, they talk about terrorism, self-defense, peace and domestically they talk about defense, development, anti-corruption, education and economy.

They allow their surrogates to spread extreme hate against Islam and Muslims.

The power that is shielding Hindutva from wider criticism is India's cultural heritage, built by yoga, spirituality, Bollywood and Mahatma Gandhi. Then come your obedient, friendly, highly educated and qualified neighbors.

It is hard for people to come to terms with the fact that Hindutva comes form the same place.
